How to use
Paste the old version on the left and the new version on the right. Use Lines for firewall rules, router configurations, command output, scripts and logs. Use Words for articles, letters and documentation.
Reading the result
Green indicates additions, red indicates removals, and unchanged content remains neutral. “Likely replacements” is a convenience estimate when an addition and removal appear next to each other.
Useful comparison options
Ignore case treats “CORE” and “core” as equal. Normalize whitespace ignores repeated spaces/tabs. Trim edges ignores leading/trailing whitespace on each comparison unit.
Practical uses
Compare network-device configurations before/after a change, firewall policies, proxy configuration, code revisions, troubleshooting output, article revisions, lists, templates, or any two blocks of text.
