Common percentage formulas
(Percentage ÷ 100) × Value
Example: 20% of 500 = 100.
(Part ÷ Total) × 100
Example: 25 is 25% of 100.
((New − Old) ÷ Old) × 100
Example: 100 → 120 = 20% increase.
((Old − New) ÷ Old) × 100
Example: 100 → 80 = 20% decrease.
Price × (1 − Discount ÷ 100)
